Hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan challenge the 40-year-old actor to a game of "Du or Don't, Part II: Baby Edition," and for the final question, Ripa holds up two different onesies and asks the soon-to-be-father whether he prefers pink or blue.
After a brief pause (and a quick audience poll), the Safe Haven star proudly grabs the blue onesie and walks to the camera, confirming the couple is having a boy.
Fergie and Josh announced in February that they are expecting their first child. The Black Eyed Peas beauty shared the pregnancy news via Twitter: "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! the singer captioned a photo of herself and Duhamel as children.
The Life as We Know It star is clearly excited about the arrival of the couple's first child, and he's repeatedly gushed over their baby on the way while doting on his pregnant wife.
"We are over the moon about it," Duhamel said on Chelsea Lately in April about the impending arrival. "We've been trying for this for quite awhile...I think it's a beautiful thing."
And he's even been singing to Fergie's belly in order to establish an early connection with his son.
"They say they'll recognize your voice when they come," he adorably confessed in April. "I'll take anything I can get...It's very important to me that we raise this kid right.
Fergie has also echoed similar sentiments and can't help but share how amazing her hubby of four years has been.
"He so nice and wonderful," she gushed. "He sings and talks to my belly all the time. He's very complimentary. I'm very lucky that he's really good to me...He's going to be an amazing father."
As for the mama-to-be's pregnancy cravings?
"Fruit has become a staple" for the 38-year-old star who has been craving anything "juicy and sweet."The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman also recently petitioned to legally change her first and last name from Stacy Ann Ferguson to Fergie Duhamel. The couple tied the knot in 2009 in a star-studded ceremony in Malibu.
