Project Runway billboard: Naked billboard too racy, banned from L.A. use

Project Runway billboard: Naked billboard too racy, banned from L.A. use, A Project Runway billboard has been banned in L.A. and other locales for being too racy after revealing apparent contestants completely naked in the ad, US reported this Wednesday, July 10. While Heidi Klum is no newbie when it comes to being nude in front of the camera, apparently the naked models below her in the poster were the real problem this time around.

The racy Project Runway billboard has been allegedly “banned” in LA that’s meant to spark fans’ interest in the 12th upcoming season of the hit fashion and modeling reality show competition. Until viewers see the bottom part of the Project Runway ad, there’s little issue with the billboard at first.

Heidi Klum can be seen in a heavily decorated dress that seems straight out of Marie Antoinette’s closet, complete with a scepter and knowing smile. The 18th century royal outfit is accompanied by another big star on Project Runway, Tim Gunn, who looks to be her noble servant.

The naked models at the heart of the Project Runway billboard controversy are seemingly bowing down to their “queen” Heidi Klum, and it’s the onslaught of nudity that apparently led to the naked billboard being banned in L.A.

Although the popular lifetime series has had its own share of racy ads, this one seems to take the crown (pun intended.) The eye-widening Project Runway poster has since been made unavailable by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, announced the network this week.

It was allegedly banned for containing “obscene matters” via the naked models.

As for Heidi Klum’s first excited tweet about the racy Project Runway billboard on Twitter:
