Celtics' Rajon Rondo: 'I will never play for the Miami Heat, Even with Doc Rivers, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce gone from the green and white jerseys, Boston Celtics' point guard Rajon Rondo is still looking to keep a dying rivalry between his team and the Miami Heat burning strong.

While hosting a youth basketball camp in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, Rondo told the campers that he'd never play for the Miami Heat. Since LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade on South Beach, the Celtics are 11-13 (including the playoffs) against the Heat. The Heat even made the rivalry a little more bitter during the 2012 offseason when they were able to court Ray Allen away from Celtic green.

I'm not sure if Rondo was worried about the possibility of him being traded to the Heat any time soon, but it's nice that he cleared up a possibility that actually isn't that possible.
